Dr. Brad Evergreen

Dr. Brad Evergreen was born and raised in rural Illinois.  Animals have always been a part of his life and he was rarely without a dog or cat by his side.  After a few years of college and traveling, he obtained his first job in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant in 1996.  Later that year, he moved to Oregon to work in other veterinary clinics and attended OSU in 1998 where he majored in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  He graduated with honors as summa cum laude.  In 2000 he attended Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine and after attending both OSU and Washington State University received his degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.  Since that time, he continues to increase his knowledge with both conventional and altervative veterinary medicine

Since graduation, Dr. Brad Evergreen has worked in Woodinville Washington for 3 years at a small mixed animal hospital, and 1 year at a busy walk-in practice in Lynnwood Washington.  He also serves the greater community by his seat on the Leadership Council for the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association (HSVMA), an exciting new organization that promotes humane treatment for all animals.  Dr. Evergreen and his wife (Dr. Hannah Evergreen) enjoy their wooded property outside Monroe with their dogs, cats, and horses.  Hiking, camping, mountain biking, and mushroom hunting are among his preferred outdoor activities.

The Evergreens try to live a sustainable lifestyle and practice veganism to extend compassion to all the animals of this world, not just their immediate patients.  Over the next year they hope to become even more sustainable and start generating their own electricity with a micro-hydro system.  This sysytem they are hoping, will have enough power charge a plug-in hybrid vehicle.  Dr. Brad Evergreen has tried to make the practice as environmentally friendly as he can with energy star efficient appliances and electronics, low or no VOC paints, recycled materials, and more to reduce the footprint our pet's healthcare makes on the planet.  All of our flyers, handouts, business cards, and patient records are made with post-consumer recycled paper and/or FSC products.
